Effective 29 September 2026. This notice applies to this website and its signed-in features.
Information collected
We receive a verified account identifier, email address and available display name from the sign-in provider. We store the recipes, cookbooks, favourites, plans, preferences and support feedback you choose to provide. You can contact support without signing in; we store the contact email and message you submit. A supplied contact email does not verify account ownership. Hosting and identity providers may also process request routes, timestamps, status codes and identifiers.
Purpose and legal use
Information is used to operate your private kitchen, support cookbook collaboration, secure the service, troubleshoot faults and improve the product. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Providers, sharing and international processing
ChatGPT currently manages sign-in. Hosting, database, identity and optional AI providers process information only as needed to operate their services and may do so outside Australia. Cookbook content is shared only with collaborators selected by its owner.
Browser storage and AI features
Essential sign-in and security information may be stored by identity and hosting providers. Short-lived interface state may be kept in the browser. If you use AI drafting, submitted recipe text, links and relevant cooking preferences are sent to the configured model service. Do not submit sensitive personal information.
Security and retention
Access is checked on the server and private responses are marked to prevent shared-cache storage. Information is retained while needed to provide the service, handle support or security issues and meet legal obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your data and controls
You can update your profile and recipe content, archive recipes, delete cookbooks and remove collaborators in the app. Portable export and full account deletion are not yet self-service. For access, correction, export, deletion or a privacy concern, submit a Privacy question through Contact support. Never include passwords, payment details or unrelated sensitive information.
